Take a tour of the Residence and you will find that we offer an exceptional range of facilities. You’ll get a feel for what we mean from the moment you walk in. Next to our reception, you’ll find the stylish Cramond Residence Café, which is open to residents and guests. Complimentary tea, coffee and home baking are available.
Luxurious communal spaces
On the ground floor, you’ll find a large communal dining room, lounge and conservatory, where you can enjoy the view to the gardens all year round. These offer an alternative to the private lounges and dining areas that are provided in each of the separate houses. Upstairs there’s also our fine dining room. This is available for special occasions and private events. You can find more information about this in the food and drink section. You will also find a games room on first floor and a library on second floor both with excellent views of the garden and access to large balconies.
Throughout the Residence, you’ll find cosy seating areas and snugs. These are ideal places for a chat with a loved one, to read a book, enjoy a morning coffee or a nightcap before bed. Our library is well-stocked with interesting books, which residents are free to borrow and return at their leisure.
Keeping you entertained
We run a wide range of activities and these take place in our dedicated Games and Activity Rooms. We also have a new Sensory room where we provide a range of therapeutic activities for those with dementia. Last and not least, we have a private cinema and function room where you can enjoy the latest movies in comfort and style.
For your health and wellness
To keep you looking your best, we have a hairdressing room with a nail bar offering a variety of beauty services.
To provide the highest level of nursing care, each floor has its own nurse station. We also have a wellness and physiotherapy suite and a resident GP and Allied Health Professionals room. Completing the wellness picture is our gym, where we run physiotherapy and exercise classes. It is well equipped with weights, mats and bars to help keep our residents active.
A breath of fresh air
For when the weather is nice, there is a fully accessible, landscaped and enclosed garden at the rear of the Residence. This is the perfect place to sit in the sun or to enjoy a walk with a loved one. Residents and their guests are also welcome to use the balcony, just off the Games Room on the first floor, and the balcony from the Library on the second floor.
